The mainstream print media will talk visual art, literature and cinema until the ink fades, but graphic design is conspicuously absent from the cultural commentariats’ customary commitments. So we were amazed at this feature about Inkahoots in the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper. There is the typical tendency to focus on an individual rather than the collective, but it nonetheless treats visual communication as relevant cultural practice.
