Inkahoots has worked with the Alliance of Forgotten Australians to create their new website.

The Alliance for Forgotten Australians (AFA) is an national organisation which promotes the interests of the estimated 500,000 people known as Forgotten Australians, who experienced institutional or other out-of-home care as children and young people in the last century in Australia, many of whom suffered physical, emotional and/or sexual abuse while in ‘care’.

The organisation's mission is to promote and encourage greater recognition for Forgotten Australians. It advocates for national policies and services which are tailored to meet the needs and interests of Forgotten Australians, and strongly encourages inclusion of Forgotten Australians in service planning and delivery. AFA delegates also seek to improve outcomes for all children and young people affected by current child protection systems and policies.
