Centre for Water Sensitive Cities
The Centre for Water Sensitive Cities is a multi-disciplinary research centre established to help Australian cities and towns better plan for the challenges of population growth and the effects of climate change on water supply in urban environments.
The logo is a symbolic ‘weave’. It represents the inter-connectedness between the ‘blue, green & brown ribbons’ of sustainable urban development. The woven integration of water sources, green and built infrastructure, and the city’s social and institutional capital is presented as an abstracted city map.
